2015 Dodge Charger officially unveiled
Following a teaser announcement made last week, Dodge has fully revealed the facelifted 2015MY Charger at the New York Auto Show. Right from the start we notice the restyled front fascia which has been taken over from the Dart, along with rounder headlights and a narrower front grille. The SXT and RT variants now have LED fog lights, while all of the trim levels benefit from standard LED taillights and daytime running lights. The R/T variant gets a three-piece spoiler which can be optionally ordered for other versions. The R/T also benefits from a unique set of 20-inch alloy wheels.
The 2015 Dodge Charger facelift will be offered with new exterior body hues, eight fresh interior cabin trims, a 7-inch customizable digital cluster, along with an electronic shifter and a three-spoke steering wheel.
Motorization is provided by either a 3.6-liter V6 Pentastar mill outputting 292 bhp and 260 lb-ft or by a 5.7-liter V8 HEMI unleashing 370 bhp and 395 lb-ft. Regardless of the engine choice, the facelifted Charger is configured with an eight-speed automatic gearbox called “TorqueFlite”.
