2015 Fiat 500 heading to NY Auto Show with optional 6-speed automatic gearbox

Fiat has announced they will be bringing to this month’s New York International Auto Show a revised variant of the 500. The model will benefit from a moderately updated interior cabin equipped with an all-new seven-inch digital instrument cluster. This equipment will be standard on the Sport, Lounge, Turbo and Abarth trim levels and according to the Italian marque it will enable drivers to “easily monitor data like speed, fuel level, Eco index and trip information.”

The 2015 Fiat 500 also comes with a slightly redesigned center console as well as Bluetooth audio streaming capabilities and three fresh exterior paint schemes: Billet Argento (billet silver), Laser Blu (bright metallic blue) and Giallo Moderna Perla (modern pearl yellow). In addition, a six-speed automatic gearbox will be available on the Abarth, Abarth Cabrio and Turbo versions.


Pricing of the 2015 Fiat 500 will be announced closer to the model’s July market launch.
