2015 Hyundai Sonata kicks off at $21,150
Hyundai has disclosed pricing details for the 2015 US-spec Sonata which starts at $21,150, without taking into account the $810 destination charges. The base SE model has 16-inch alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, LED daytime running lights, 6-speaker sound system, tilt & telescoping steering wheel and an air conditioning system. Opt for the $23,175 Sonata Sport and you also get a different front grille, 17-inch alloys, dual exhaust setup, 5-inch touchscreen infotainment display, 10-way power driver seat and heated front seats.
Sonata Limited kicks off at $26,525 and comes with leather seats, wood grain trim, leather steering wheel, passive entry system, dual-zone automatic climate control, 7-speaker + subwoofer sound system and 6-way power passenger seat.
The range-topping Sport 2.0T costs $28,575 and benefits from HID xenon headlights, 18-inch rims, more chrome trim, sport-tuned suspension, bigger front brakes, quad exhaust system, rear diffuser, leather sport seats, sport steering wheel and a “3D appearance” trim.
Engine options include a 4-cylinder 2.4-liter GDI with 185 bhp and 178 lb-ft for the SE, Sport and Limited trim levels while the Sport 2.0T gets a 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbo motor with 245 bhp and 260 lb-ft. These two engines are connected to a 6-speed automatic gearbox featuring a manual shift mode called SHIFTRONIC.
