2015 Kia Rio goes official
Besides bringing the facelifted Venga, Kia will also showcase in Paris a revised variant of the Rio hatchback which comes with a series of updates both inside and out. The supermini comes with a redesigned tiger nose front grille, two exterior paints (Urban Blue & Digital Yellow), fresh 15- to 17-inch alloy wheels, revised fog lights and different front & rear bumpers. On the inside there’s now a chrome finish on the air vent surrounds while the center stack has also been altered. The vehicle will be offered from now on with DAB radio and a seven-inch touchscreen display part of the infotainment system.
The 2015 Kia Rio facelift will be sold depending on the region with four engines ranging in output from 75 HP to 109 HP delivered to the front axle through 5- or 6-speed manual gearboxes along with an optional 4-speed automatic transmission. These engines can be had with Kia’s next generation idle stop & go technology featuring a start/stop system, revised alternator control, updated starter motor and low-rolling resistance tires.
Deliveries of the 2015 Kia Rio facelift will commence early next year.
