2015 Kia Sedona priced from $25,900

After showcasing the all-new Sedona at the New York Auto Show earlier this year, Kia has slapped a $25,900 starting price for the mid-size MPV. It can also be had in upper spec trims called L, LX, SX and SX Limited, with the latter costing $39,700 and coming with Nappa leather upholstery borrowed from the K900 flagship sedan. Regardless of the trim select, all models are motivated by a GDI V6 3.3-liter engine outputting 276 bhp at 6,000 rpm and 248 lb-ft at 5,200 rpm delivered to the wheels via a six-speed Sport-Matic transmission.

The wheelbase has been stretched by 1.6 inches so now there’s a more spacious cabin featuring a 60:40 split third row, with the seats being retracted into the floor. As for the second row, the seats can slide and fold upright to offer a bigger cargo area useful when carrying larger items. All seats are wrapped around in a YES Essentials fabric technology offering anti-static, anti-microbial and stain resistance.

The 2015 Kia Sedona is also available with a handsfree Smart Power Liftgate (with programming function) for automatically opening the rear lift gate if the key fob is detected for three consecutive seconds.
