Motivation of the 2015 Toyota Prius c is provided just like before from the same naturally-aspirated  four-cylinder 1.5-liter gasoline engine rated at 73 bhp (54 kW) and 111 Nm (82 lb-ft) of torque. Thanks to the on-board electric motor, the vehicle has a combined output of 99 bhp (74 kW) and according to EPA it returns 53 mpg in the city, 46 mpg on the highway and 50 mpg in the combined cycle, with the nickel-metal 144-volt battery pack placed under the rear passenger seats.

There’s no word about pricing but most likely the 2014MY price tag will be retained so expect the revised variant to kick off from $19,080.
