Hyundai has taken the wraps off the 2015MY Genesis Coupe in United States where it has a starting price of $26,750. The vehicle now comes as standard with LED daytime running lights and if you opt for the 3.8 R-Spec model you will also get a passive entry system as well as an automatic climate control system. Hyundai has decided to axe the 3.8 Grand Touring model but they have added two new base models. In addition, the South Korean marque has eliminated the 4-cylinder 2.0-liter engine which produced 274 bhp (204 kW) and 372 Nm (275 lb-ft) of torque.
What this means is that the 2015 Hyundai Genesis Coupe can be had only with a V6 3.8-liter engine generating 348 bhp (259 kW) and 399 Nm (295 lb-ft). It will be enough to allow a 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) run in the “lower five-second range” before hitting an electronically-capped maximum speed of 149 mph (239 km/h).
