The 2016 Mazda6 facelift has been introduced this week in Los Angeles with a series of visual tweaks both inside and out. Already one of the most beautiful models in its sector, the vehicle has been further enhanced with two-tone 19-inch alloy wheels, a shark fin antenna, additional color options as well as a tweaked front grille and restyled headlights & taillights. Inside the cabin it features a seven-inch free-standing touchscreen display, a revised center console, new upholstery choices, better seats and reduced panel gaps. Mazda has also installed an electronic parking brake and more sound deadening material.
The 2016 Mazda6 facelift in US specification will be commercialized with a four-cylinder 2.5-liter SKYACTIV-G gasoline engine that generates 184 bhp (137 kW) and a maximum torque of 185 lb-ft (220 Nm). Output will be sent to the front axle with help from a SKYACTIV-Drive six-speed automatic gearbox.
