300 HP Opel Astra OPC EXTREME storms into Geneva

After an online reveal about a week ago, Opel is currently exhibiting the Astra OPC EXTREME at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. It’s actually the fastest and most powerful road-legal Astra ever as a result of an uprated 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbo engine outputting more than 300 bhp. Aside from the tremendous power, the Astra has lost 100 kg compared to the regular OPC variant thanks to a carbon fiber hood, roof, spoiler, bumper and front diffuser. In addition, the car has received six-piston Brembo brake system with 370mm ventilated front discs while the output is sent to the front axle through a six-speed manual gearbox.
