3000+ HP Venturi VBB-3 EV breaks cover
You are looking at what will probably become the fastest electric vehicle on this planet. It’s called the VBB-3 EV and has been developed by Venturi. The vehicle was officially presented with assistance from Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco, and it was developed in collaboration with Ohio State University. The Venturi VBB-3 EV has received two electric motors which enable the vehicle to have a combined output of no less than 3,000 HP (2,206 kW) and an instant torque of 2,065 lb-ft (2,800 Nm). These two electric motors get their power from a lithium-ion phosphate battery pack with 2,000 pouch-type cells.
The Venturi VBB-3 EV was programmed to do a couple of high-speed runs at the Bonneville Salt Flats several days ago, but due to bad weather conditions FIA had to cancel the sprints. However, the company has announced several tests for later this year in their attempt to hit a top speed of 372.82 mph (600 km/h).
