2015 Chrysler 200 leaked
This is Chrysler’s all-new 200 which will be unveiled in full later this month at NAIAS. Looking far sleeker and attractive than the model it replaces, these images with the Chrysler 200 probably show the car in the S version. Some details about the car have also surfaced the web, indicating it will come as standard with a 9-speed automatic gearbox controllable through a rotary knob. In addition, the vehicle will benefit from an all-wheel drive system which will have the capability of automatically disconnecting the rear axle in specific conditions. The Chrysler 200 in its most economical form will have a fuel efficiency of 35 mpg on the highway.
Power will come from a 4-cylinder TigerShark 2.4-liter gasoline engine offering 184 bhp and 173 lb-ft. If that’s not enough, you will be able to opt for a beefier V6 Pentastar 3.6-liter optional motor rated at 295 bhp and 262 lb-ft.
The base model will have a starting price of $21,700 if we exclude the $995 destination charges.
