At this year’s edition of the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, MINI has introduced the gorgeous Superleggera Vision concept which was developed in collaboration with Touring Superleggera. The concept envisions a potential two-seater roadster wearing the MINI badge which wants to express “the most minimalist and emotional style of motoring.” MINI hasn’t released technical details about the striking concept but they did say it’s powered by an electric motor. The highlight of the concept is its hand-crafted body panels showing soft and gentle curves along with a very attractive Como Blue exterior paint scheme that was developed specifically for this concept.
The MINI Superleggera Vision concept also comes with a front splitter made from carbon fiber, along with a special rear fin and side sills manufactured from carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP). Moving inside we notice the rather minimalistic cabin that has a digital instrument cluster and upscale leather upholstery. There’s also the aluminum-wrapped dashboard together with a lovely three-spoke steering wheel, Union Jack-inspired structural elements in the doors, as well as an old-school analog clock.
