German tuner Brabus has launched a comprehensive upgrade program for the Mercedes S63 AMG Coupe 4MATIC. Known as the “850 6.0 Biturbo Coupe”, the vehicle comes with a heavily modified V8 engine with an increased displacement from 5.5 to 5.9 liters while the two turbochargers have been replaced with custom ones equipped with larger compressors. The exhaust manifold has also been upgraded while the ECU and intake module are also new. Thanks to these changes, the engine is now capable of producing 850 HP at 5,400 rpm and 1,450 Nm of torque which will be electronically limited to 1,150 Nm.
As a result of this massive power gain, the Mercedes S63 AMG Coupe 4MATIC will sprint to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.5 seconds and will need 9.4 seconds from 0 to 124 mph (200 km/h) before topping out at an electronically-capped 217 mph (350 km/h).
Aside from the hardware tweaks, the high-performance coupe has received a new body with carbon fiber elements, a new diffuser as well as a variety of Brabus Monoblock alloy wheels in sizes from 18 to 22 inches. The interior cabin is adorned with a new upholstery while shadow gold accents have been applied onto 219 parts of the cabin.
