Nissan has introduced the Sway concept at the Geneva Motor Show and it likely previews the next generation Micra. It has received a bluish dawn grey exterior paint scheme and the corporate V-motion front grille as well as LED headlights. Also noticeable are the LED strips for the daytime running lights, sculpted hood, floating roof, trapezoidal exhaust pipes as well as rear-hinged back doors and boomerang-shaped LED taillights. It doesn’t have B pillars so getting inside the cabin should be a very easy task, especially since there’s a generous 2570mm wheelbase.
The Nissan Sway concept is 4010mm long, 1780mm wide and 1385mm tall and benefits from a high-tech interior cabin derived from the IDx concepts. It benefits from lightweight seats that have an exposed aluminum structure and have been wrapped around in suede-like fabric featuring special stitching and a pearlescent effect.
Nissan has already announced the next generation Micra is programmed to go on sale in 2016 and will be manufactured by Renault at one of their factories near Paris, France.
