Ford has finally introduced the 2013 Fiesta ST in United Kingdom where it is available at a starting price of 16,995 pounds. The hot hatchback is motivated by a 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine producing 182 HP (134 kW) and 177 lb-ft (240 Nm), with the power being sent to the front wheels through a 6-speed manual gearbox. This setup allows the car to hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in 6.9 seconds and a top speed of 137 mph (220 km/h). It can return 39.9 mpg US (47.9 mpg UK or 5.9 liters / 100 km), with CO2 emissions standing at 138 g/km. The car features a tailgate-mounted spoiler, rear diffuser, LED-infused headlights, honeycomb grille inserts and different bumpers.
On the inside it features a sport steering wheel, Recaro seats, alloy pedals, faux carbon fiber trim and the company’s “Sound Symposer” which is capable of channeling the engine noise inside the cabin. The 2013 Ford Fiesta ST rides on a sport-tuned suspension and benefits from a 3-mode electronic stability control program which is fully defeatable.
There’s also an enhanced torque vectoring control system, updated power steering system, retuned dampers and springs, along with a reduced ride height and better braking system featuring rear brake discs.
