Nissan and ELLE collaborate for special edition Micra
Nissan’s UK division has decided to join forces with popular fashion magazine ELLE to come up with a special edition of the small Micra city car. This limited version of the supermini is available with new body colors and provides additional equipment than the standard model. As you would expect, the vehicle wears special badging and it will be limited to only 500 units, all for the UK market.
The Micra ELLE is based on the mid-range Acenta trim level and comes as standard with goodies such as cruise control, keyless entry and air conditioning.
The Nissan Micra ELLE is offered with 15-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic glass roof, a roof spoiler, chrome trim on the grille, while on the inside it gets new seat upholstery, chrome door handles and the company’s Connect satellite-navigation infotainment system which is available at additional cost. The ELLE badging can be found on the front door guards, front floor mats, front wings and on the tailgate.
Those interested in this limited edition Micra ELLE will want to know that it is offered with a choice of two power units in the form of a 3-cylinder 1.2-liter gasoline unit with 79 hp and the supercharged 1.2-liter DIG-S that is capable of producing 97 hp and emitting just 99 g/km of CO2. The special edition is offered with new three exterior paint finishes: Atlas Blue, Alabaster White and Shiraz Red.
Nissan said that the car will go on sale on September 1st at a starting price of 12,000 pounds for the base model.
