2014 Hyundai Tucson breaks cover
The Hyundai Tucson has reached 2014 model year which brings several exterior updates such as revised alloy wheels, LED-infused headlights and LED taillights which are an optional feature. On the inside there are illuminated front cup holders, a tilt/telescopic steering wheel, Bluetooth connectivity and reclining rear seats. Other than that, the 2014 Tucson has a better instrument panel on the SE and Limited trims, updated upholstery and an uprated infotainment system for the Limited model which has a bigger touchscreen and a revised user interface.
The old MPI engines have been replaced by a 2.0-liter Nu GDI that churns 164 bhp and a peak torque of 151 lb-ft. There’s also a 2.4-liter Theta II GDI which outputs 182 bhp and 177 lb-ft. These two power units are mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox sending power to the front wheels as standard or to all four wheels for more money.
