In January 2013 Abflug will bring the recently developed tuning program for the Toyota GT 86 at the 2013 edition of the Tokyo Auto Salon. The Japanese coupe has received as you can see a brand new body kit that looks considerably more aggressive than the standard look of the vehicle. It gets heavily modified front and rear bumpers, along with a spoiler mounted on the trunk and slightly revised side skirts that make the car look more masculine. The vehicle has been fitted with brand new 19-inch alloys wrapped around in ADVAN Sport rubbers provided by Yokohama. The stock suspension has been replaced by a HiperMAX IV GT unit that comes together with new springs and shocks.
The stopping power is now provided by the new Dixcel brake kit, while the most significant changes can be found under the hood. The Toyota GT 86 is as most of you know powered by a 2.0-liter boxer engine that now has received a HKS GT supercharged as well as a sports exhaust system. Thanks to these modifications, the power unit is now 58 HP (43 kW) and 91 Nm (67 lb-ft) more powerful than the standard version. In other words, it’s now able to generate a total output of 258 HP (190 kW) and a maximum torque of 296 Nm (218 lb-ft).
