The Volkswagen Beetle Cabriolet has just received an extensive upgrade program from ABT which includes a different front spoiler and body-colored covers for the headlights. We also notice a new rear panel and rear skirt set along with various alloys ranging in sizes from 18 to 20 inches. Other goodies include 30mm lowering springs or custom suspension springs bringing the vehicle closer to the road by 30mm at the front and by 35mm at the back. ABT is also offering 345x30mm rotors with black calipers as well as a two-pipe rear muffler.
There are also many power upgrades starting out with the 1.2 TSI that can be massaged to deliver 140 PS and 220 Nm while the 1.4 TSI is tuned to output 210 PS and 280 Nm. The 2.0 TFSI can be modified to generate 260 PS and 350 Nm and there’s also a boost for the more economical 1.6 TDI to 125 PS and 285 Nm. Lastly, the 2.0 TDI is tweaked to offer 170 PS and a maximum torque of 370 Nm.
