About five months ago ABT Sportsline tuned the Audi S8 and now they are back with a revision to their kit which brings even more power. In the initial kit, the V8 4.0-liter twin-turbo engine was upgraded by 120 HP (88 kW) and 130 Nm (96 lb-ft) to no less than 640 HP (471 kW) and 780 Nm (575 lb-ft) while now the output has been lifted even further to 675 HP (496 kW) and a maximum torque of 840 Nm (619 lb-ft). As you would expect, the vehicle is now much faster as the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run is done 0.5 faster in just 4.1 seconds.
Moreover, the Audi S8 by ABT Sportsline has an impressive top speed of 180 mph (290 km/h) whereas the unmodified car tops out at an electronically-capped 155 mph (250 km/h). The vehicle seen here also benefits from a 25mm lowered suspension and rides on 20- or 21-inch alloy wheels that come bundled with 275/35 R20 or 275/35 R21 tires. ABT has also added an aftermarket muffler system as well as the compulsory badging.
