Alfa Romeo 4C gets twin-turbo conversion by Lazzarini Design
Lazzarini Design is previewing their twin-turbo conversion for the Alfa Romeo 4C which comes with many other hardware changes. For starters, the vehicle packs a Ferrari-derived V8 4.3-liter engine equipped with a pair of Hennessey turbochargers which allow the model to produce no less than 738 bhp (550 kW) and a maximum torque of 720 Nm (532 lb-ft). The vehicle is estimated to weigh 955 kg (2,100 lbs) and do the 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) run in 2.5 seconds while the quarter mile should take as little as 9.5 seconds at 137 mph (220 km/h).
Aside from the engine transplant, the Alfa Romeo 4C has also received a more aggressive and aerodynamic body kit encompassing carbon fiber front splitter, new front bumper, ventilated hood, tweaked side skirts, extended fenders and a restyled rear bumper incorporating a diffuser. Other additions include the centrally positioned dual exhaust system as well as a massive rear wing.
Currently under development, the Alfa Romeo 4C by Lazzarini Design will cost approximately €250,000.
