Aston Martin DBS Coupe and DB9 Spyder Zagato Centennial revealed
Aston Martin has reached its 100th birthday and for this occasion Zagato has decided to create two bespoke AM models known as the DBS Coupe Zagato Centennial and the DB9 Spyder Zagato Centennial. The former is being characterized as an “exotic cross of Aston Martin DNA with Italian flair and Milanese inspiration.” The unique vehicle comes with a bespoke front fascia that has retro-like headlights and a prominent grille. We also notice the implementation of a double bubble roof, a custom greenhouse and a very special rear end. This car has already been accounted for to a “young and prestigious Japanese entrepreneur.”
As far as the DB9 Spyder Zagato Centennial is concerned, this special Aston Martin created by Zagato will be in the possession of Peter Read, a well-known America car collector who already has a DB7 Zagato in his garage. The vehicle’s looks are inspired from the coupe but with a traditional canvas roof which has replaced the hardtop.
Neither did Aston Martin or Zagato disclosed details about what powers these two special concepts but hopefully they will reveal full technical specifications in the near future. Most likely, pricing info will never become available since these two cars will remain one-offs.
