Aston Martin launches V8 Vantage SP10
Aston Martin has introduced a new edition of the V8 Vantage S which will be sold with the SP10 moniker both as a coupe and a roadster. It will be available only in Europe with pricing starting from 96,635 euros plus value added tax. Power comes from the familiar 4.7-liter V8 engine unleashing 430 hp (321 kW) and a peak torque of 490 Nm (361 lb-ft). The main difference between the SP10 and the regular V8 Vantage S would have to be the manual 6-speed gearbox which is offered as standard for the new model while optionally available is the same seven-speed automated manual transmission of the regular V8 Vantage S.
With either of the two gearboxes, the Aston Martin V8 Vantage SP10 needs 4.5 seconds to run the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint and reach a maximum speed of 189 mph (305 km/h). Both the coupe and roadster will feature a Ceramic Grey Metallic finish and a Titan Grey hue for the roadster’s top. The cars roll on 19-inch alloys and come with clear rear lamps, carbon fiber rear diffuser, black brake calipers and a front splitter.
Inside the cabin there’s a black theme and for more money the client can order the car with an optional Bang & Olufsen sound system pumping out 1000W.
