Aston Martin Vanquish Volante Neiman Marcus Edition set for L.A. Auto Show debut
British sportscar manufacturer Aston Martin has disclosed plans of showing the Neiman Marcus Edition of the Vanquish Volante next week at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show. The car was created by the firm’s Q customization arm and is distinguished by its special Seychelles Blue exterior paint scheme, Atlantic Blue soft top, bright finish for the front grille and bi-xenon headlights. The vehicle also packs 20-spoke alloys, sterling silver & flux enamel badges and blue brake calipers. Inside it gets semi-aniline leather seats with Aurora Blue contrast stitching and a walnut trim. The car has also received quilted door panel inserts and embroidered headrests.
At its heart is a V12 6.0-liter engine outputting 573 HP and 620 Nm of torque sent to the road through a six-speed Touchtronic II automatic gearbox that allows the stylish convertible to reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.1 seconds before topping out at 183 mph (294 km/h).
The vehicle is available only in the Neiman Marcus Christmas Book and will be available in a limited series of just 10 units, with each of them carrying a price tag of $344,500.
