Audi is proud to introduce a very exciting concept in the form of the A3 clubsport quattro which likely serves as a preview for the upcoming RS3. Its heart and soul is a 2.5-liter TFSI 5-cylinder engine outputting an impressive 525 PS and a peak torque of 600 Nm. The concept weighs 1,527 kg and will do the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 3.6 seconds before topping out at 192 mph (310 km/h). Audi’s engineers were able to squeeze the additional horsepower by mounting a beefier turbocharger and a tweaked intercooler. The quattro AWD system gets the engine’s power via a 7-speed S tronic.
The Audi A3 clubsport quattro concept benefits from a sportier suspension arrangement which has lowered the vehicle by 10mm compared to the S3 Sedan upon which the concept is based on. It sits on 21-inch alloy wheels shod in 275/25 R21 tires while the stopping power is provided by a carbon ceramic braking system
Other highlights include the matrix LED headlights, a Magnetic Blue paint, as well as a large rear diffuser, CFRP front blades and side sills. It also comes with oval exhaust pipes, bucket seats with 4-point seatbelts and room in the trunk for two helmets.
