Audi R8 burns during a Mumbai car show
The list of supercars on the road has just been reduced as an Audi R8 burned beyond recognition en route to the Parx Supercar Show in Mumbai, India. It occurred on Saturday on the city’s Bandra – Worli Sea Link bridge right in the middle of the afternoon. Because of the fire, the traffic was blocked for several hours according to the news reports. According to local sources, the R8 was travelling at a high speed and tried to overtake some of the vehicles participating at the event. It’s funny to mention that Audi’s chief in India, Michael Perschke, was present at the event in an Audi R8 driven by Karun Chandhok, the Indian F1 driver.
