Audi starts selling the A3 Sportback g-tron in Germany
Audi has opened the order books in Germany for those interested in purchasing the A3 Sportback g-tron. The vehicle is equipped with a 1.4-liter four-cylinder TFSI engine delivering 110 HP and a maximum torque of 200 Nm. This is a bivalent engine as it can run not only on gasoline but also on CNG – compressed natural gas. In addition, this engine has been conceived in such a way so that it would be compatible with Audi’s own e-gas and when the model runs in e-gas mode it will be “entirely CO2 neutral.” It should be mentioned the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) will take 11 seconds.
The Audi A3 Sportback g-tron has a maximum speed of 118 mph (190 km/h) and on gas can cover a range of 242 miles and 559 miles when running on gasoline. If both types of fuels are used by the driver, the vehicle will be able to provide an impressive range of 807 miles.
Audi has announced the model has a starting price of 25,900 euros.
