BMW has introduced the beautiful Gran Lusso Coupe concept at the 2013 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este which was created together with Pininfarina. Envisioned as the ultimate luxury coupe and hinting most likely at the revival of the 8-Series moniker, the concept comes with full LED headlights, a “shark nose” front end and a special set of 21-inch alloys never seen before on a BMW model. There’s also a prominent grille, front fender vents and elegantly slender taillights. Other features worth mentioning include a sloping roofline and a matte aluminum trim.
As far as the interior is concerned, the BMW Gran Lusso Coupe concept has received a sport steering wheel, kauri wood trim, tobacco brown leather upholstery and LED ambient lightning. The concept also benefits from a virgin Italian wool headliner which has a special pattern called “Principe di Galles”.
Motivation comes from an unknown V12 engine of undisclosed output.
