BMW launches Edition Lifestyle for 1-Series Coupe and Convertible
BMW has announced earlier this week that for next month’s Detroit Motor Show they will bring the recently unveiled 4-Series Coupe Concept and the M6 GranCoupe. They have another ace up their sleeves as the German brand will also present the Edition Lifestyle of the 1-Series Coupe and Convertible. On top of that, they also plan on showing the new mildly facelifted Z4 that we talked about yesterday. Today we are going to focus on their entry-level offering, those two special 1-Series models. This is a special package that will be offered for most engine variants and will add some styling details along with more equipment than the regular versions found in showrooms.
The exterior of the 1-Series Edition Lifestyle can be painted in one of the next three colors: Space Grey metallic, Sapphire Black metallic and the Mineral White metallic paint which is exclusive for this special edition. All variants come with 18-inch alloys and feature a white decorative trim for the traditional double kidney front grille. Other than that, it also features Chrome Line window recess finishers and window surrounds, while the convertible variant comes with a brown soft-top that has silver pigmentation.
Moving inside the cabin we find a brown leather trim for the steering wheel, door panels and seats – all of which also feature white contrast stitching. There are also special floor mats, an anthracite-colored roof liner and several wood strips.
