The hot BMW M235i Coupe has just received an even more powerful “RS” version courtesy of aftermarket specialists from Tuningwerk. The vehicle has been equipped with a wide body kit made from carbon fiber which encompasses a front lip spoiler, rear wing and a rear diffuser. It sits on 18-inch forged alloy wheels wrapped around in Dunlop Sport Maxx RT tires and has also been fitted with an uprated cooling system and a high-performance braking system. On the inside it boasts a carbon fiber trim, sport steering wheel and Recaro seats while optionally it can be configured with six-point seat harness and a roll cage.
Motivation comes from the same 6-cylinder, 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo engine which has received a custom aluminum oil pan and is working with a sports exhaust system. Compared to the standard engine, the revised version puts out an additional 118 PS and 150 Nm, for a grand total of 444 PS and 600 Nm.
The engine works with a 6-speed manual gearbox that has a sport clutch and allows the BMW M235i RS perform the 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) run in 4.3 seconds while the 0-120 mph (0-193 km/h) sprint takes 15.4 seconds.
The whole car has a starting price of 65,000 euros.
