BMW unveils M235i Track Edition
BMW Netherlands has announced a Track Edition of the M235i Coupe described as being “sporty” and “exclusive”. The model can be distinguished by its M Performance body kit encompassing a front splitter, updated side skirts as well as a rear diffuser. It also comes with a spoiler mounted on the trunk, black front grille, 19-inch alloy wheels and a sport exhaust system made from stainless steel. On the inside it has been fitted with a sport steering wheel wrapped around in Alcantara and featuring a race display, along with aluminum pedals and a handbrake lever covered in leather and Alcantara.
The BMW M235i Track Edition is motivated by a 6-cylinder 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo engine delivering 326 PS (240 kW) and 322 lb-ft (450 Nm) of torque sent to the wheels through an 8-speed automatic gearbox that allows the hot coupe hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.8 seconds before reaching an electronically-capped maximum speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).
BMW says they will make only 12 cars and each will carry a starting price of 83,000 euros.
