One of the most powerful SUVs on sale today – the BMW X6 M – is now even more powerful thanks to the engineers over at Hamann. Their latest project is known as Tycoon II M and focuses mostly on the V8 4.4-liter twin-turbo engine which has received an optimized ECU and a sports exhaust system. As a result of these changes, the mill now churns 670 HP (493 kW) and a peak torque of 701 lb-ft (950 Nm), thus making it a full 115 HP (85 kW) and 199 lb-ft (270 Nm) more powerful than the standard output. Hamann says that after the upgrade kit is applied, the BMW X6 M can reach a top speed of 186 mph (300 km/h).
Aside from the healthy power boost, the high-performance SUV has been fitted with a very aggressive body kit featuring new side skirts, front and rear bumpers, along with extended wheel arches. Other changes include massive 22- or 23-inch alloy wheels, two rear spoilers, LED daytime running lights and a new hood manufactured from carbon fiber. Inside there’s a carbon fiber trim, illuminated sill plates, sports steering wheel and a new speedometer that goes up to 199 mph (320 km/h).
