Carlsson has developed an upgrade kit for the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. It starts out with the exterior which has received a redesigned front bumper with bigger air intakes and a front lip spoiler. They have also updated the side skirts, installed a new rear valance plus a quad exhaust system and created several alloys in sizes from 19 to 21 inches. For the interior there are various leather and wood appointments, a Wi-Fi hotspot, rear-seat entertainment system, REVOX audio system, humidor, refrigerator and to top it all off, sheepskin floor mats.
The engineers have also worked on the V8 4.7-liter mill and bumped its output by 154 HP (113 kW) and 147 lb-ft (200 Nm) to 610 HP (448 kW) and 663 lb-ft (900 Nm) of torque. The V8 5.5-liter twin-turbo powering the S63 AMG has been tweaked to output 780 HP (573 kW) and 774 lb-ft (1,050 Nm) so it’s 195 HP (143 kW) and 110 lb-ft (150 Nm) more powerful than in standard configuration.
