Citroen has taken the wraps off a stunning new concept called Divine DS which will be shown to the large audience next month at the Paris Motor Show. Unfortunately it doesn’t preview a future production model but the French marque does say that it serves as a preview for the DS’ future which in Europe will be expanded from three to six members. The concept seen here is of a compact four-door vehicle with the following physical dimensions: 4.21 meters length, 1.98 meters width and 1.35 meters height. One of the most impressive visual features is represented by the breathtaking headlights featuring laser sequential indicators.
The Citroen Divine DS concept has been fitted with massive 20-inch alloy wheels that benefit from a floating spoke design while the sloping roof comes with facets towards the back which open up in order to reveal a reversing camera. Step inside the futuristic cabin and you will notice a gigantic 10.4-inch touchscreen display which has also replaced the conventional rearview mirror.
Motivation is provided by PSA’s familiar 4-cylinder 1.6-liter THP Euro 6-compliant engine that produces 270 PS at 6,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 330 Nm between 1,900 rpm and 5,500 rpm.
