It was only a couple of days ago when we heard a rumor about Citroen launching a production version of the DS3 Cabrio racing concept in January and now the French marque has made it official. It looks a lot like the concept exhibited earlier this year at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and comes with a retractable soft top and a Moondust Grey exterior paint scheme complemented by the dual exhaust arrangement which has received a shiny chrome finish. The vehicle has also gained several carbon fiber parts such as the rear diffuser, side skirts and front splitter.
Inside it gets faux carbon fiber accents, a Moondust Grey trim and Crimson Red flourishes. The DS3 Cabrio Racing can also be distinguished by its individually-numbered badge and the embroidered headrests. Under the hood it packs a 4-cylinder 1.6-liter turbo engine with 207 bhp in a body which weighs 25 kg more than the DS3 Racing variant.
