Facelifted Lexus CT200h revealed

Japanese marque Lexus has published the first official images with the facelift version of the CT200h hatchback which is programmed for a public debut at the Guangzhou Motor Show in China on November 21, before going on sale in the first part of 2014. Technical specifications have not been revealed but it should come with the same 1.8-liter gasoline engine rated at 98 bhp and an electric motor pumping out 80 bhp. This hardware arrangement will provide a 134 bhp combined output and will enable the car to hit 60 mph (96 km/h) from a standstill in 9.8 seconds prior to reaching a maximum speed of 112 mph (180 km/h).

The 2014 Lexus CT200h facelift will feature the now familiar spindle grille with a bigger lower opening, as seen on most recent models launched by Toyota’s premium sub-brand. There also seems to be a new design for the alloys, while the front and rear bumpers have received a few mild updates.
