Ford Australia unveils 2014 Everest Concept

You probably have heard by now that Ford will stop making cars in Australia but in return those of you living down under will be able to pick from no less than eleven new global vehicles which will come out over the course of the next four years. There are no exact details concerning which cars will be available, but our money is on models such as the Transit, EcoSport, Fiesta ST, Mustang and the Mondeo. Ford is also preparing the 2014 Falcon which will be the last ever Falco launched by the Blue Oval company.

In these official images we get to see the Everest Concept which has been styled entirely by Ford’s design studio in Australia and serves as a preview for an upcoming production model which is going to be sold globally. In terms of looks, we think of this car as a combination between the Jeep Grand Cherokee and the Dodge Durango, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing but it lacks originality.
