In January 2013 the Batmobile from 1966 which was actually built on George Barris’ 1955 Lincoln Futura Concept is scheduled to go on sale in Scottsdale, Arizona, but obviously only a very limited number of people can afford this.
However, there’s a considerably cheaper alternative like this “tribute” to the Batmobile from 1966 which is available on eBay.
Hiding underneath it is a 1988 Ford Escort GT that has a 1.9-liter turbo engine. At the moment of writing, the highest bid is of $3,333.
