Ford Focus RS first images emerge

The Ford Focus RS has made its online debut in batch of leaked official images. The highly anticipated hot hatchback adopts a beefier body with more prominent front and rear bumpers, larger air vents, muscular side skirts, fixed rear wing and a new set of alloy wheels featuring a dual multi-spoke design. It’s wearing a Liquid Blue paint and adopts a sport-tuned suspension while at the back we notice a dual exhaust setup. Inside the cabin it gets Recaro sport seats but bucket seats will be offered at an additional cost.

Motivation is believed to come from a 4-cylinder 2.3-liter EcoBoost turbocharged gasoline engine taken from the Mustang GT. In this application, the motor is rumored to deliver somewhere in the region of 330 bhp channeled to an all-wheel drive system. This hardware setup should grant a 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) run in 4.5 seconds.
An official reveal of the Ford Focus RS is scheduled to occur later today. Pricing in United States will allegedly start from $37,850.
