Ford Performance Vehicles is proud to introduce the special edition GT F which will be built in only 550 units, with 500 of them heading to Australia while the rest are destined for the New Zealand market. All cars are equipped with a supercharged V8 5.0-liter engine outputting 477 PS and a maximum torque of 570 Nm. If that’s not enough, there’s an overboost function which bumps output of the engine to no less than 549 PS. However, it should be mentioned the additional oomph is available at all times during days with lower temperatures while in hot days the overboost will work for 15-20 seconds.
Engine aside, the 2014 FPV GT comes with the same suspension as the limited run GT RSPEC and has received a set of 19-inch alloys wrapped around in Dunlop Sport Maxx 275/35 R19 tires. Other goodies include a G-force sensor and an optional dark grey car cover tailored for this model.
Ford Performance Vehicles mentions only a few cars are still up for grabs, with each being priced at 77,990 AUD.
