Henrik Fisker presents Thunderbolt concept
Henrik Fisker has taken the wraps off the Thunderbolt concept which is based on the Aston Martin Vanquish. Compared to the standard car, this one has received 21-inch alloy wheels shod in performance tires and it has also been lowered by 15mm. It has also gained a new body manufactured from carbon fiber, along with a bigger front grille, new taillights featuring LED technology as well as a sloped roofline and a raked rear windscreen. Henrik Fisker has also added triangular air intakes, a big power dome and a spoiler mounted on the trunk.
As far as the interior is concerned, the Thunderbolt concept benefits from a 11.6-inch high-resolution Curved Control Screen developed by Panasonic and they say it diminishes reflections and glare. Also on board is a Skeleton chronograph incorporated in the dashboard, a champagne/wine bottle holder along with specially trimmed leather surfaces from Italian furniture maker Natuzzi.
Henrik Fisker says the Thunderbolt concept is a design study but a few cars will actually be built by Galpin Aston Martin at an undisclosed price tag.
