Honda launches 2015 Pilot Special Edition
Japanese automaker Honda has announced plans for a 2015 Pilot Special Edition which will be positioned above the EX and below the EX-L trim levels. This variant is going to pack bespoke pewter alloys, special badging, along with a rear seat entertainment system as well as Sirius XM satellite radio and a power sunroof. The vehicle is slated to go on sale in a short while and it will carry a starting price of $33,120, without taking into consideration the $830 destination charge.
Motivation of the 2015 Honda Pilot Special Edition comes from a V6 3.5-liter engine outputting 250 bhp and a peak torque of 253 lb-ft. This motor works as standard with a 5-speed automatic gearbox and at an additional cost the vehicle can be configured with an optional 4WD arrangement.
