Hyundai’s Belgium branch has launched a “Cross” version of the ix20 which brings a number of modifications, starting out with a slightly increased ride height which makes the vehicle more suitable for bumpier roads. In addition, the vehicle has received different gray 16-inch alloy wheels and benefits from plastic body cladding on the wheel arches and side sills. Moreover, Hyundai has installed additional underbody protection at the front and rear and they also tinted the rear windows. The ix20 Cross will be offered as standard with a TMPS – Tire Pressure Monitoring System, cruise control (with speed limiter) and an automatic air conditioning system.
Prices kick off at 16,999 euros for the model powered by a four-cylinder, 1.4-liter NA engine generating a modest 90 bhp. For this money customers will also be getting a navigation system equipped with a touchscreen display as well as a rear-view camera.
