Hyundai has revealed a near-production concept of the ix25 this month in China during the 2014 Beijing Motor Show. The compact crossover received the firm’s Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design language and previews a model which will be sold only in China in the next few months. Hyundai is describing its latest product as a “sophisticated small-size SUV” which from a design point of view it looks a bit more aggressive compared to recent models wearing Hyundai’s badge.
In terms of dimensions, the Hyundai ix25 concept has a 4270mm length, a 1780mm width and a 1630mm height while the wheelbase spans at 2590mm. Under the hood there’s a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder Nu engine of an undisclosed output.
The production version is programmed to hit the Chinese market in the second half of 2014.
