Hyundai previews 2014 Genesis through renders
Asian automaker Hyundai has published two renders of the upcoming new generation of the Genesis which will be revealed before the end of the year. The car will adopt the firm’s Fluidic Sculpture design language which will evolve into a 2.0 version for the new Genesis. It will take many of the design cues from the HCD-14 Genesis Concept but we also notice some influences of the Peugeot 508. The all-new Genesis will be offered with pre-safe belts as well as an emergency fastening device system which will automatically tighten the seat belts in the unfortunate event of a crash.
We have also heard from Hyundai that the Genesis will be offered for the very first time with an all-wheel drive system in the form of a HTRAC setup that is capable of controlling torque split between the front and rear axles as necessary given the road conditions available.
