Hyundai has introduced the Tucson “The Walking Dead” special edition tailored to fans of the graphic novel series. The vehicle can be distinguished by its Ash Black exterior paint scheme featuring body side graphics as well as special badging. It is offered with no less than four different types of decals: Survivors, Saviors, Hilltop and Kingdom while inside the cabin it has black leather-wrapped seats, a 7-inch touchscreen display with a unique The Walking Dead splash screen. It also comes with bespoke floor mats, special badging and a so-called “zombie survival kit” encompassing among other things mint toothpaste and zip ties.
The Hyundai Tucson “The Walking Dead” special edition is powered by a four-cylinder 2.4-liter Theta II GDI engine delivering 182 bhp and a maximum torque of 177 lb-ft. Power is sent as standard to the front wheels via a 6-speed automatic gearbox but for more money clients can select an optional AWD setup.
Hyundai has not disclosed the model’s pricing but they say it’s available on order at dealerships.
