Approximately a week ago Jaguar dropped a teaser photo of the C-X17 concept which has gone official today at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show and provides us with a first glance at the company’s crossover contender. The appealing concept is wearing a Caesium Blue paint job adorned with several glossy black accents and complemented by the huge 23-inch rims. It also boasts plastic body cladding for a more rugged appearance, together with LED headlights and F-Type-inspired taillights. The interior cabin can accommodate four people and adopts a two-tone leather upholstery, as well as black anodized metal accents.
We also notice the inclusion of a full-length center console, a Meridian sound system and a hi-tech infotainment system. The Jaguar C-X17 concept utilizes the firm’s new aluminum monocoque architecture which will also be used as foundation for mid-sized premium sedan scheduled to come out sometime in 2015. Details concerning the concept’s powertrain weren’t disclosed but Jaguar did say the sedan will have several engines, with some versions capable of achieving a top speed of more than 186 mph (300 km/h).
