Kia plans on introducing yet a special version of the Soul in United Kingdom. Known as the Soul Shaker, this model will be sold alongside with the Soul Inferno and Soul Quantum. What sets this model apart from the rest of the lineup would have to be the different 18-inch alloys and a Quartz Black or Vanilla Shake metallic exterior paint.
Inside the cabin there aren’t any significant changes but we do find audio controls mounted on the steering wheel, automatically-dimming rear view mirror, sunroof Bluetooth and iPod support, air conditioning and “Houndstooth” cloth seats.
Kia is offering two engines for the Soul Shaker special edition. The first one is a 1.6-liter CRD pumping out 126 hp (94 kW) and 260 Nm (192 lb-ft) of torque, while the other is a 1.6-liter GDI power unit outputting 138 hp (103 kW) and 165 Nm (122 lb-ft). With the gasoline engine, the vehicle can complete the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) task in 10 seconds and is able to reach a top speed of 112 mph (180 km/h).
Already on sale, the Kia Soul Shaker special edition has a starting price of 15,295 pounds.
