Koenigsegg bringing One:1 to 2014 Geneva Motor Show in March

Swedish supercar maker Koenigsegg has disclosed plans to show the One:1 in March at the Geneva Motor Show. Set to be a direct competitor to the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport World Record Edition, the Koenigsegg One:1 will have an engine output of 1,400 bhp wrapped around in a body weighing 1,400 kg which means the vehicle will provide a power to weight ratio of 1 bhp per kg, hence the “One:1” designation Koenigsegg has selected. Only six cars will ever be built and all of them have already been sold at a yet undisclosed price tag.

Koenigsegg says the car has what it takes to exceed 450 km/h (280 mph) but will most likely be limited by the tires. It will be able to cover the 0-400 km/h (0-248 mph) sprint in around 20 seconds and will also establish new records for the 0-200 km/h (0-124 mph) and 0-300 km/h (0-186 mph) runs.
