Lamborghini 5-95 Zagato makes surprise debut at Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este
Lamborghini and Zagato have team up for a rather peculiar one-off based on the Gallardo LP 570-4. The concept wears the 5-95 moniker and was introduced a few days ago at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este as a celebration for Zagato’s 95th anniversary. The vehicle was commissioned by well-known collector Albert Spiess so don’t expect a series production as it won’t happen. It comes with a wraparound windscreen equipped with a wind deflector, along with a double bubble roof in typical Zagato style, as well as Zagato Raptor-derived side intakes.
The Lamborghini 5-95 Zagato is characterized by its authors as being a “modern collectible” that has a centrally-mounted intake on the roof as well as a short rear overhang. As a brief history lesson, Lamborghini and Zagato collaborated for the first time back in 1965 for the iconic 3500 GTZ.
